Fiqh al-Makasib (Jurisprudence of Transactions) presents the theory of a just economy. 👌The erroneous concepts of the Adam Smith economic school have resulted in several consequences such as: The expansion of usury within society, the widening of the class gap, systematic thefts from people’s wealth, the production of harmful and environmentally destructive crops, the creation of severe imbalance in people’s living systems, the spread of loneliness as a modern phenomenon and the ultimate outcome of all these issues is the empowerment of parasitic capitalists! 👌The transformational movements within the Qom Seminary call upon economic elites and the peoples of the world to reconsider and move beyond these impractical concepts. We begin a new educational stage in the science of economics, aiming for a deeper acquaintance with the sciences of the Prophets—peace be upon them—and to escape the dead ends of the Adam Smith economic school. The main fields in Fiqh al-Makasib consist of nine topics: 1. Defining the new research methodology related to economic and livelihood studies. 2. Defining the list of wholesome crops and Top professions. 3. Explaining the benefits of family-based production, decentralization, and people’s participation—alongside clarifying the defects of industrial production in eight aspects. 4. The five benefits in public trade and the five characteristics regarding how markets are to be established in Islam. 5. The six foundational principles between seller and buyer—explaining their various differences and clarifying the distinction between the concepts of supply and demand. 6. Defining Islamic methods of financing in fifteen axes. 7. Explaining the non-economic factors influencing the economy—together with the concepts of barakat (divine blessing) and profit. 8. The history of economics from the perspective of the Prophets—peace be upon them. 9.
